Warehouse Operative (Ballymoney) - Nightshift

About the role:

Sunday - Thursday: 9pm - 6am

Rate of pay: £13.21 per hour, plus £1 per hour Nightshift allowance.

The Warehouse Operative is responsible for supporting the efficient operation of the warehouse by ensuring orders are picked correctly & accurately and above set KPI’s. All cages and pallets are loaded, wrapped, scanned, secured, and loaded accurately to support safe distribution processes, service accuracy, and driver efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• People: To support the underlying principle of Creating a Great Place to Work.
• Picking, Loading & Security: Ensure cages and pallets are wrapped correctly. Ensure all orders are picked accurately & efficiently. Use correct bars and straps for trailers and 18-tonne trucks. Ensure all cages and pallets are scanned onto the correct trailer or truck. Verify loads are secure prior to departure. Assisting with general warehouse duties as required
• Health & Safety: Following health and safety procedures at all times. Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse. Help to maintain a ‘Clean as You Go’ policy

Qualifications and Experience (Desirable)

• GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English
• 1 year Experience working in a warehouse, picking, or replenishment environment
