About the Role:
Unify Brands Ltd is seeking a dependable, physically active, and motivated Warehouse Operative to join our fulfillment team at our warehouse facility in Waringstown.
In this role, you will play an essential part in daily logistics, ensuring stock is accurately received, safely stored, and efficiently picked and packed for customer orders across the UK and Ireland. This is a practical, hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in accuracy, tidiness, and steady productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Goods Receipt & Inspection: Unload incoming freight, inspect pallets and cartons for transit damage, verify delivery quantities against purchase orders, and report discrepancies.
- Put-Away & Storage: Transfer goods into designated racking and bin locations safely and logically to maintain stock accessibility and inventory accuracy.
- Order Picking & Packing: Accurately pick products using pick sheets/manifests, quality-check items prior to packing, pack orders securely to commercial standards, and apply courier dispatch labels.
- Dispatch Staging: Consolidate parcels and pallets, safely load outbound delivery vehicles and courier vans, and ensure dispatches depart on schedule.
- Health & Safety & Housekeeping: Keep aisles, fire exits, and workstations clear of debris, wrap, and empty pallets; follow safe kinetic manual handling practices; and adhere to all facility safety rules under the Health and Safety at Work (NI) Order.
- General Duties: Assist with periodic inventory cycle counts and carry out general warehouse tasks as directed by the Warehouse Manager.
What We Are Looking For
- Right to Work: Valid legal entitlement to work in the UK (proof required prior to start date).
- Physical Capability: Comfortable with continuous standing, walking, bending, and repetitive manual lifting (up to 25kg) throughout an 8-hour shift.
- Attention to Detail: High standard of accuracy when reading product codes, numbers, and shipping manifests to minimize picking errors.
- Work Ethic & Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and capable of working well both independently and alongside team members.
- Driving Licence: A full, clean Category B (car/van) driving licence is required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, manufacturing, or stockroom environment is preferred, but full on-the-job training will be provided for candidates with the right attitude.
What We Offer
- Working Hours: Monday-to-Friday schedule (no regular weekend shifts).
- Holiday Entitlement: 28 days of paid annual leave per year (inclusive of Northern Ireland statutory bank holidays).
- Workplace Pension: Enrolment into a qualifying UK workplace pension scheme (NEST) with employer contributions.
- Work Environment: Friendly team environment, free on-site parking, and all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided.
Pay: £12.71 per hour
