Salary: Starting from £27,759.97 – increasing to £29,668.50 per annum following initial training

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

2 x 8.25hr rotating shift pattern:

Days 5:45am-2:00pm

Afters 1:45pm - 10:00pm

The Role

We are looking for an experienced, motivated and reliable Warehouse Operative to join our team. This is a manual, hands-on role supporting the efficient movement, storage, and dispatch of materials and finished goods over 2 sites, while maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy, and housekeeping.

The successful candidate must hold a valid FLT Counterbalance truck licence and have previous experience operating these trucks in a warehouse environment.

The key responsibilities of the role are:

· Safely operating a forklift truck in a busy warehouse environment

· Consolidating and preparing customer orders accurately

· Palletising, banding, and moving stock into racking

· Safe loading and unloading of HGV deliveries and containers

· Maintaining high housekeeping and safety standards in the warehouse

Working in a shift team you will be self-motivated, reliable, accurate and enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You should also be able to work safely unsupervised as well as with others to ensure the maximum productivity of your team.

The successful candidate must have:

· A current Forklift truck licence

· Previous experience in a warehouse environment

· Sufficient physical fitness to undertake manual handling tasks

· Strong accuracy and numeracy skills for order handling

· Awareness of Health and Safety regulations and safe working practices

· Reliability, good timekeeping, and a proactive approach to work

· Strong communication and teamwork skills

· The ability to work effectively both independently and within a team

· Willingness to develop new skills and take on additional responsibilities

Pay: £27,759.97-£29,668.50 per year
