Warehouse Operative

Ex-Cel Plastics Ltd in Carrickmacross is one of Ireland's leading PVC foam sheet manufacturers. We have an exciting opportunity available for a Warehouse Operative to join the team in Carrickmacross. We are seeking a self-motivated, organised and flexible individual. We are recruiting for this role both in-house and externally.

The ideal candidate should have the ability to work as part of a team and on their own initiative. They must be safety conscious and have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Warehouse Operative role.

Job Duties:

• Load and unload vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
• Receive, check, and retrieve finished goods
• Assembling of partial pallets to customer requirements
• Liaison with administration staff for shipping documents
• Prepare finished goods for dispatch
• Maintain records and process dispatch paperwork
• General housekeeping in warehouse and duties assigned
• Perform general warehouse duties to maintain smooth operation
• Operation of the Mayer Saw

Experience, Skill & Education:

• 3 years’ experience in a warehouse operative role
• Excellent communication skills
• Forklift experience essential
• Manual handling
• Counterbalance/Reach Truck licence preferred
• Experience in principles of inventory control and scheduling an advantage

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 8.30-5.00pm

Pay: From €15.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
