Shift Pattern 06:00am to 15:00pm

£14.50 per hour (30 minute break - 9 hour shift)

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Operative to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse, contributing to the smooth flow of goods in and out of the facility.

Who we are

Igloo Thermo Logistics is a national temperature-controlled distribution company operating across three depots in the UK. We have depots in Leeds, Luton and Taunton and have recently celebrated our 20th Anniversary.

Nationally, we run over 125 vehicles ranging from sprinters to artics. Across the three depots, we employ over 200 employees, complete over 5,000 weekly deliveries and are growing!

Due to expansion of the business, we are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our dynamic team!

What you will be doing.

• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform shipping and receiving duties, ensuring accurate documentation and inventory control.
• Engage in heavy lifting and materials handling as required, adhering to safety protocols.
• Picking in a frozen and ambient environment for extended periods of time
• Conduct quality control checks on incoming and outgoing products to ensure standards are met.
• Load and unload vehicles with care, ensuring products are handled properly to prevent damage.
• Participate in picking and packing orders accurately for dispatch.
• Keep the warehouse clean and organised, following health and safety regulations.
• Overtime opportunities on a weekend.
• All training provided

What we are looking for.

• Previous forklift experience is (Bendi & Counterbalance) Bendi is preferable
• Valid Driving Licence preferable
• Previous experience in a warehouse environment - essential.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 15 kg) consistently throughout the shift – essential
• Experience in working within a frozen environment
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail for stock management - essential
