Warehouse Operative / Order Picker

Full-time | Permanent | Monday to Friday

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Warehouse Operative / Order Picker to join our small, friendly team based in Yeovil.

This is a varied, hands-on role covering the day-to-day running of our warehouse. As part of a small team, we are looking for someone who is dependable, hardworking and happy to get involved wherever needed.

The Role

Your main duties will include:

• Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders
• Receiving deliveries, checking goods and putting stock away
• General warehouse duties, including stock organisation and maintaining a clean and tidy working environment
• Preparing and palletising larger orders, including shipments into Amazon fulfilment centres
• Using a forklift to move and organise stock
• Occasional local delivery driving

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Has previous warehouse experience
• Is reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work
• Has good attention to detail and can work accurately
• Is comfortable working independently and as part of a small team
• Is physically capable of carrying out a hands-on warehouse role
• Has a full UK driving licence
• Forklift experience is preferred, but training can be provided

Hours & Salary

Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.

This is a full-time, permanent position with 22 days' annual holiday plus bank holidays, free on-site parking and no regular evening or weekend working.
