Job Title: Warehouse Operative – Returns Processing

Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our team. This role focuses on processing Amazon return pallets, including inspecting, testing, grading items, and accurately reporting results via our management systems. The position also includes order picking duties to support daily operations.

Shifts Available:

• 4x Days 24 Hours per week
• 9am to 3pm, 3pm to 9pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Unload and sort Amazon return pallets
• Inspect and test returned items to assess functionality and condition
• Accurately assign a condition grade based on company guidelines
• Submit item results clearly and efficiently via Google Chat
• Maintain a target processing time of 3 minutes per item
• Pick and prepare customer orders quickly and accurately
• Ensure all products are handled safely and stored correctly
• Maintain a clean and organised work area
• Report any faults, discrepancies, or issues to supervisors

Performance Expectations:

• Consistently meet or exceed the 3-minute per item processing target
• High accuracy in grading and reporting
• Efficient and error-free order picking

Skills & Requirements:

• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work at a fast pace while maintaining accuracy
• Basic technical understanding (for testing items)
• Comfortable using mobile or desktop chat systems
• Strong organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable:

• Previous warehouse or returns processing experience
• Experience with electronics testing or product inspection

Working Environment:

• Warehouse-based role
• Physically active (lifting, moving stock, standing for long periods)

Summary:
This is a fast-paced role suited to someone who can combine speed with accuracy. You will play a key part in ensuring returned stock is processed efficiently and ready for resale, while also supporting order fulfilment operations.

Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 24.0 per week
