Warehouse Operative/Driver

We are a well-established school wear supplier looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Warehouse Operative / Driver to join our team.

This is a varied role combining driving duties with warehouse support. During most of the year, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering stock to our retail branches twice per week, as well as assisting with daily warehouse operations. During our peak summer trading period, driving duties will increase significantly, with deliveries required on a daily basis before returning to support the warehouse team.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver stock safely and efficiently to our branch locations.
• Load and unload vehicles.
• Assist with picking, packing and organising stock within the warehouse.
• Support stock management and general warehouse duties.
• Use computer systems to process stock movements and deliveries.
• Maintain a professional and friendly manner when representing the company.

Essential Requirements

• Full UK driving licence with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 2 years driving experience.
• Must be 25 years or over due to vehicle insurance requirements.
• Good basic computer skills.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
• Friendly, approachable and professional attitude.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to carry out manual handling and warehouse duties.
