Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver

A Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver is responsible for safely loading and unloading goods, moving stock around the warehouse using a forklift, checking deliveries, and keeping accurate stock records.

Main duties:

• Load and unload delivery vehicles safely.
• Operate a counterbalance forklift to move pallets and goods.
• Check incoming and outgoing stock for accuracy and damage.
• Pick, pack and prepare orders for dispatch.
• Complete warehouse paperwork and stock-control records.
• Carry out daily forklift safety checks.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organised and safe.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
• Work as part of a team to meet daily warehouse targets.
• Report damaged goods, stock discrepancies or safety issues to a supervisor.

Typical requirements:

• Valid forklift/counterbalance licence.
• Previous warehouse or forklift experience.
• Good attention to detail.
• Ability to work safely and follow instructions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work shifts and undertake physical warehouse work.

Pay: £25,420.00-£40,409.65 per year
