What they need

About Us

Spaceright Europe Ltd and Millhouse are a leading manufacturer of educational furniture and resources, supplying schools and nurseries across the UK and internationally. Our Warehouse and Logistics teams play a critical role in ensuring our products reach customers safely, efficiently and on time.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join our team in Manby.

The Role

As a Warehouse Operative, you will support the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, helping ensure orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately and efficiently.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Picking, Wrapping and Preparing customer orders
  • Loading and Unloading deliveries
  • Preparing goods for despatch
  • Moving stock safely within the warehouse
  • Carrying out general warehouse duties including housekeeping
  • Supporting stock checks and inventory control
  • Following all company Health & Safety procedures

You will be working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Proven experience working in a warehouse environment, with familiarity working with others as part of a team.
  • Valid forklift licence with experience operating various types of forklifts safely (desirable, not essential).
  • Computer literate, able to communicate well with other colleagues using Microsoft tools such as Excel and Teams.
  • Strong materials handling skills, including heavy lifting and manual labour when necessary.
  • Basic maths skills for inventory counts, measurements and data entry tasks.
  • Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures to ensure efficient stock movement.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good organisational skills with attention to detail to maintain accurate records and stock levels.
  • Physical fitness to handle heavy lifting tasks regularly throughout shifts. This position offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic logistics environment where safety, efficiency, and organisation are paramount. Candidates should be prepared to contribute positively to our team while adhering to all health and safety regulations.

Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.

A forklift licence would be advantageous but is not required. A forklift is not required all the time and will most likely be used 20%-30% of the time, shared with other colleagues.
