Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver - Nightshift

Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Warehouse Forklift Operator for our night shift team. In this vital role, you will operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, to load, unload, and organize materials within our warehouse. Your expertise in warehouse distribution and materials handling will ensure smooth shipping and receiving processes, contributing to our commitment to timely deliveries and safe operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts,
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders using RF scanners and warehouse management systems
• Load and unload materials efficiently while adhering to OSHA safety standards
• Assist with order picking using pickers and ensure accuracy in shipping & receiving tasks
• Conduct routine inspections of heavy equipment for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance as needed
• Support warehouse supervisor in managing inventory levels and organizing storage areas

Skills

• Proven experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, and materials handling
• Certification or experience operating forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks
• Strong knowledge of OSHA safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and RF scanners for inventory control
• Heavy lifting capability and experience with shipping & receiving procedures
• Previous warehouse supervisor experience is a plus for leadership potential
