Based in the heart of the countryside in Fovant, we are a well-established family business with a reputation for quality. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative/Forklift Operator to join our close-knit team.

The Role:

This is a hands-on, varied role. You’ll be an integral part of the daily operations of a busy rural warehouse.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Forklift Operations: Safely unloading/loading lorries and stacking pallets.
• Order Fulfilment: Accurately picking, prepping, and packing seed mixtures for dispatch.
• Inventory Management: Assisting with stock takes and maintaining precise records for traceability.
• Teamwork: Working collaboratively to meet seasonal demands and maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

What We Are Looking For:

• Experienced Forklift Operator: (Essential) You must be confident and competent on a truck.
• Driving Licence & Transport: (Essential) Due to our rural location, you must have your own vehicle.
• Accuracy & Paperwork: You must be comfortable and happy handling paperwork, including recording certification numbers for traceability and booking in stock.
• Experience: Previous experience with telehandlers and trailers is a distinct advantage.
• Attitude: Someone proactive with a good work ethic. A general interest in agriculture/ shooting/ conservation would be beneficial, but not essential.
• Confidence and competence in completing tasks whilst working both with others and alone.
• Basic computer skills for processing orders, printing labels etc when needed.

Salary D.O.E

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
