About the Role

Adecco is currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operator based in Mount Maunganui. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy warehouse team where safety, quality, and teamwork are highly valued.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, ensuring stock is accurately handled, stored, and dispatched while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Loading and unloading trucks and containers
• Receiving, checking, and storing incoming stock
• Operating forklifts and warehouse equipment (if licensed)
• Conducting stock counts and inventory checks
• Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and organization
• Following health and safety procedures at all times
• Assisting with general warehouse duties as required
• Working collaboratively with team members to meet operational deadlines

Skills & Experience

Essential:

• Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good level of physical fitness and ability to lift products safely
• Reliable, punctual, and motivated attitude
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills
• Commitment to workplace health and safety

Desirable:

• Current Forklift Licence (F Endorsement) and OSH Certificate
• Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Full New Zealand Driver's Licence
