Warehouse Operator

About the role

This is a physical, hands-on role. Artificial turf is a large and heavy product, so regular manual handling is an important part of the position. The role involves moving and handling rolls of turf and other materials, preparing orders, and regularly loading and unloading vehicles. Applicants should be comfortable performing physical work throughout the day and using appropriate manual-handling techniques and equipment.

Position: Full-Time
Days: Monday to Friday

Key responsibilities

• Picking and preparing customer and installation orders
• Cutting, rolling and preparing artificial turf and associated products
• Loading and unloading vehicles and deliveries
• Receiving, moving and organising stock
• Keeping the warehouse clean, safe and well organised
• Working closely with our office and operations team to ensure orders are prepared accurately and on time
• Assisting customers and installers collecting products from the warehouse
• For applicants interested in the combined role, completing deliveries to customers and project sites throughout Melbourne

• Has a positive attitude and works well as part of a team
• Can follow instructions and established processes
• Shows initiative and doesn't need to be constantly told what to do
• Is organised and pays attention to detail
• Is physically capable and comfortable with regular manual handling
• Communicates well with colleagues and customers
• Is willing to learn
• Previous warehouse experience would be an advantage
• A forklift licence would be highly regarded but isn't essential for the right applicant

• A forklift licence would be highly regarded but isn’t essential for the right applicant.
• For applicants interested in the delivery component, a current Victorian driver’s licence is required and previous delivery experience would be advantageous.
