Warehouse Operator

Position : Warehouse Operator/Forklift Location : Four Oaks, NC Duration : 12 Months Total Hours/week : 40.00 1st Shift Job Category : Light Industrial Pay Rate: $18.00/hr Job Summary Warehouse role driving a counterbalance forklift, using a variety of equipment such as forklifts, conveyors, cranes, handcarts, and power trucks to move materials, parts, assemblies, and finished products within a plant, office, or warehouse. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1st shift, 6:00 AM-2:00 PM, overtime as needed. 10-panel drug screening required (must be completed within 48 hours of job offer acceptance). Background checks must be completed before starting (no exceptions).

Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate counterbalance forklift to move materials, parts, assemblies, and finished goods
• Maintain records as needed
• Complete routine tasks within prescribed steps and clearly defined SOPs/scientific methods
• Adhere to quality guidelines

Experience

• Minimum 6 months of previous forklift driving experience required (no exceptions)
• 0 - 1 year of warehouse experience or related experience/training

Key Skills

• Counterbalance forklift operation

Eligibility & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Steel toe or composite shoes required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted (required)
• Ability to read, write, interpret, and comprehend documents in English
• Ability to work in physically demanding conditions: walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, balancing, climbing, lifting, crouching, reaching, pulling, pushing, grasping, and repetitive hand/wrist motion
• Exposure to moving mechanical parts, extreme weather (hot summers, cold winters, no AC/limited heating), vibration, and occasionally high/precarious places or fumes/airborne particles
• Moderate to loud noise environment
• Must pass 10-panel drug screening and background check before starting
