Job Title: Warehouse & Forklift Operator (Full-Time)

About the Role:

This hands-on role is responsible for daily warehouse operations, forklift handling, inventory management, order fulfilment and dispatch. The successful candidate will operate both high-reach and general/counterbalance forklifts, manage incoming and outgoing goods, generate shipping labels, and ensure orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately and on time.
Working closely with the office team, suppliers, couriers and external logistics partners, you will help maintain a safe, clean and organised warehouse while supporting quality standards, operational efficiency and continuous improvement.

Forklift Operations: Safely operate high-reach and counterbalance forklifts for receiving, storage and movement of goods.
Warehouse & Inventory Management: Manage incoming stock, pallet storage, stock rotation, inventory accuracy and warehouse upkeep.
Order Fulfilment & Dispatch: Generate shipping labels, pick and process orders, and ensure accurate and timely dispatch.
Logistics Coordination: Liaise with the office team, suppliers, couriers and third-party logistics providers to resolve delivery issues.
Quality, Safety & Compliance: Maintain HACCP, ACO, Somage quality, hygiene and workplace safety standards.
Continuous Improvement: Support improvements to warehouse efficiency, inventory control, logistics processes and procedures.

Warehouse Operations & Forklift Handling Safely operate high-reach and general/counterbalance forklifts to move, store and retrieve inventory and raw materials.

• Load and unload trucks and containers, and put away or retrieve pallets from high-level racking.
• Manage incoming goods, including unloading, checking, receiving, storing and repalletising stock as required.
• Maintain accurate stock locations, appropriate stock rotation and inventory levels, and assist with stocktakes and spot checks.
• Coordinate daily warehouse operations, including opening, closing, pest control checks and locking up.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse in line with operational requirements.

Order Fulfilment, Dispatch & Logistics Generate shipping labels, pick bulk manifests, and process daily customer orders to ensure accurate and timely dispatch. Liaise with the office team, couriers and third-party transport and warehouse providers to ensure efficient order fulfilment.

• Attend to transport, courier and delivery issues and communicate with relevant parties.

Quality Control, Safety & Compliance Follow HACCP, ACO and Somage quality, hygiene, operational and workplace health and safety requirements, maintaining safe storage and handling practices for inventory and raw materials.

• Liaise with suppliers and external partners to support quality control, safety and compliance, ensuring warehouse activities meet required standards.

Continuous Improvement Identify and contribute to improvements in warehouse efficiency, inventory management and logistics processes through warehouse reviews and continuous improvement meetings.

• Assist with implementing process improvements and maintaining accurate, up-to-date warehouse procedures.

Key Requirements Current LF Forklift Licence.

• Proven experience operating both high-reach and general/counterbalance forklifts.
• Previous experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, order picking and dispatch.
• Ability to safely load and unload trucks and containers and handle palletised goods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate order fulfilment and inventory control.
• Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to liaise with internal teams and external service providers.
• Understanding of workplace health and safety, quality control and warehouse housekeeping requirements.
• Reliable, organised and proactive, with a willingness to contribute to continuous improvement.

Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
