What they need
Warehouse Operator
Advanced Fleet Signs (AFS) | Canning Vale, Perth
Full-time | 37.5 hours per week | $37–$43 per hour
Attitude is everything. Bring initiative, take ownership, and help us build a warehouse we can be proud of.
At Advanced Fleet Signs, we manufacture and supply Rock Board LED Fleet Identification and safety products to customers across Australia and internationally.
We’re a small business that takes pride in the relentless pursuit of excellence, and we’re looking for someone who shares that mindset.
We’ll be upfront: our warehouse inventory, systems and processes need significant improvement.
There’s work to do, and we’re looking for someone who sees that as an opportunity—a person who enjoys bringing order to a busy environment and making tasks their own.
The role
You’ll handle the daily warehouse operations while helping us improve how stock is organised, recorded and moved through the business.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Receiving deliveries, checking goods and recording incoming stock.
- Occasionally answering the business’s main line and recording & passing on messages
- Organising stock locations and keeping the warehouse clean, safe and orderly.
- Picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for dispatch.
- Supplying parts and materials to our production team.
- Conducting stock takes, investigating discrepancies and improving inventory accuracy.
- Helping establish practical, consistent warehouse systems and processes.
- Occasional local pickups & deliveries
- Following tasks through to completion and communicating issues early.
Who we’re looking for
We value attitude, reliability and a willingness to learn. Warehouse experience is welcome, but training will be provided.
You’ll be someone who:
- Shows up each day ready to contribute and get the job done.
- Thinks for themselves and takes initiative.
- Takes ownership of tasks without needing constant direction.
- Pays attention to detail and cares about getting things right.
- Enjoys practical work, solving problems and making improvements.
- Works well with a small team and communicates clearly.
- Is comfortable using computers and learning inventory systems.
You must also hold a current forklift licence and a full car driver’s licence and have your own reliable transport.
What we offer
- A full-time role working 37.5 hours per week.
- An hourly pay rate of $37–$43.
- Training and support to help you succeed.
- A practical role with variety and responsibility.
- The opportunity to make a visible difference to how our business operates.
- A small team where your effort, ideas and improvements matter.
If you enjoy a real challenge and take pride in leaving things better than you found them, we’d like to hear from you.
