Warehouse Operator

Merit Contacting is looking for a Warehouse Operator to join our team!

We are looking for a reliable, energetic, and motivated individual with basic warehouse or construction knowledge who is eager to learn new skills and grow within our company.

What we're looking for:

• Candidates with basic construction or warehouse experience. Forklift experience is an asset.

Warehouse Operator Duties (Vary on a day to day basis):

• Receiving, unloading, and organizing incoming materials and supplies.
• Picking, preparing, and loading materials for delivery to job sites.
• Maintaining an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment.
• Monitoring inventory and assisting with stock counts.
• Operating warehouse equipment, tools, and machinery as required.
• Preparing and organizing materials and equipment for upcoming projects.
• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
• Assisting with general warehouse maintenance and other duties as required.
• Following all workplace health and safety procedures.

Additional Requirements

• Must be currently located in Canada and legally authorized to work in Canada.
• Must have reliable transportation and their own means of getting to and from the warehouse or job site.
• Valid forklift certification is a significant asset and will be strongly considered during the hiring process.

Compensation based on experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
