Warehouse Operator

CEIS Power is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator with 2–5 years of recent experience operating large-capacity forklifts in a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment. This position is on a contract-to-hire basis, and our client, an industrial manufacturing and service company, is looking for a motivated individual to join their fast-paced, growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience safely moving oversized, high-value industrial equipment, operating forklifts with capacities up to 55,000 lbs, and supporting material handling operations in a production-focused environment.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of recent experience operating large-capacity forklifts in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Experience operating forklifts with capacities up to 55,000 lbs.
• Experience handling oversized, heavy industrial equipment and materials.
• Strong understanding of safe material handling practices and load stability.
• Ability to load, unload, and transport heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ability to perform pre-shift equipment inspections and identify potential maintenance issues.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety and accuracy.
• Ability to successfully complete a forklift operating and driving evaluation during the interview process.

Responsibilities The right person for this position will be responsible for the following:

• Safely operate forklifts with capacities up to 55,000 lbs throughout the facility.
• Move heavy pipe, pressure vessels, engines, gas compressors, coolers, and other large industrial equipment.
• Load and unload trucks while ensuring materials are handled safely and properly secured.
• Transport materials between production, assembly, warehouse, and staging areas.
• Perform pre-shift forklift inspections and report equipment defects or maintenance concerns.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and material handling standards.
• Stage materials and equipment to support production schedules and operational requirements.
• Coordinate with warehouse, production, and shop personnel to ensure materials are moved efficiently.
• Maintain awareness of surrounding personnel, equipment, and potential hazards while operating machinery.
