Warehouse Order picker- Freezer/Cooler

To provide efficient and courteous delivery and pickup of our products for our customers we are looking for Warehouse Order pickers to serve our customers.

11.00 AM TO 7.30 PM Shift

In your role as a Warehouse Order picker -FREEZER/COOLER your primary accountabilities in addition to your regular work duties but not limited to will be:

Reporting to Senior Operations Manager/Warehouse Manager, the Cooler/Freezer Order Picker will be responsible for the prompt and accurate receiving, stacking, and arranging of the products into coolers and freezers across the warehouse.

• Assist and collaborate with the warehouse operation team with the prompt and accurate arrangement of customer orders from coolers/freezers for shipment
• Read work orders, pick, arrange and palletize the orders from the storage area, and arrange them for shipment.
• Move all the received products from the receivable area to the cooler and freezer stack and arrange them into respective storage racking slots.
• Prepare orders for shipment and move orders to the staging area for shipment.
• Process all required paperwork and maintain adequate records for reporting and tracking.
• Maintain and organize work area according to warehouse standards by following all the safety guidelines.
• Assist in counting periodical physical inventory and verifying stock and reporting the differences to the warehouse manager.
• Wear proper safety personal protective gear.
• Follow and comply with all the food safety program requirements when at work.
• Perform other duties as assigned from time to time.

Education and Work Experience Requirements:

• 1-2 years of proven shipping and receiving work experience in a large warehouse
• Must be available to work in the freezer and refrigerated climate for long hours (0-degree to -10-degree c)
• Must be able to lift weighted product on daily basis (average of 50 LBS)
• Trained in the operation of “Ride-on” and “Fork Lift” /electric pallet jack
• Must be available to work over time
• Good communication skills in English
• Ability to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently
• Punctuality and attendance are important to this job

Working conditions:

• Week shift schedule of 5 days a week
• Overtime as required
• Exposure to wet/cold warehouse conditions
• Exposure to mobile equipment traffic and noise conditions
• Physically demanding - required a long period of standing and walking
• Required to do heavy to moderate lifting on a constant basis
