Warehouse Packer

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Packer to join our dynamic logistics team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently packing, labeling, and preparing products for shipment while ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met. Duties

• Pack products securely using appropriate packaging materials, ensuring protection during transit
• Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, reach trucks, cherry pickers, forklifts, and other heavy equipment safely and effectively
• Use barcode scanners and RF (radio frequency) scanners to accurately pick, pack, and track inventory within the warehouse management system
• Load and unload shipments efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and PPE (personal protective equipment) requirements
• Conduct quality control checks to verify order accuracy and completeness before dispatching
• Maintain organized stock levels by stocking shelves and replenishing inventory as needed
• Assist with shipping & receiving processes, including labeling, documentation, and inventory updates

Skills

• Proven experience in warehouse operations, including picking & packing, inventory management, and order fulfillment
• Skilled in operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, cherry pickers, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling tools
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management systems for accurate stock tracking
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting safely and efficiently
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and PPE use to ensure a secure working environment
• Excellent attention to detail for barcode scanning for logistics accuracy and quality control checks
• Basic math skills for counting items, measuring packages, and verifying shipments accurately
