Warehouse, Packing & Drumming Executive

Role and Responsibilities

·         Ensure supervisors and operators follow and fulfil the packing and drumming planning schedule.

·         Follow and enforce all GMP and hygiene practices in the plant.

·         Practice 5S and keep the plant clean and tidy.

·         Ensure all required quality checks, including verification of product grade, source tank, batch number, transfer route, packing material and labels, are completed according to procedures before packing or drumming starts, during product changeovers and throughout operations to prevent product mix-ups, contamination and other quality issues.

·         Understand and implement the Management System in the plant, and ensure plant operations comply with GMP, HACCP, ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, Halal, MSPO, RSPO, Kosher, GMP+ and BRCS Food Safety requirements, as well as all other Company compliance requirements.

·         Supervise the receipt, storage, handling and dispatch of finished goods and packing materials. Ensure proper identification, segregation and stock rotation according to Company procedures.

·         Monitor and analyse plant downtime and coordinate with the Maintenance team on equipment repairs and the preventive maintenance programme to improve operational efficiency.

Communicate and coordinate closely with the Maintenance team on all maintenance work in the plant and ensure it is performed safely.

Investigate and review customer complaints related to packing and drumming operations, and ensure all corrective and preventive actions are implemented effectively.

·         Review and check that all log sheets and checklists are completed on time and in accordance with procedures.

·         Follow and enforce all Company SHE regulations in the plant.

Ensure everyone working in the plant wears appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), e.g. safety helmets and safety shoes, in accordance with safe operating procedures or instructions.

·         Participate in internal and external audits related to Plant 10 (Packing & Drumming).

·         Ensure the SAP system and the Infor AS planning scheduler are implemented effectively.

·         Conduct ongoing training and briefings for subordinates on new procedures and standards.

·         Carry out other ad hoc tasks as instructed by superiors from time to time.

Comply with all quality standards and requirements set by the Company, as well as product specifications required by local and international clients.

Job Success Requirements

1. Possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Chemistry, Food Engineering or any other related field.

2. At least 3-5 years of working experience in manufacturing environment.

3. Preferable to have knowledge of SAP system.
