Warehouse Operative / Driver

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, starting at 7:30am
Start Date: Immediate start required

Requirements

• Full clean UK driving licence
• Valid Forklift Licence
• Aged 25 or over (due to company van insurance policy)
• Good level of physical fitness and ability to handle manual work

Role Overview

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative / Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will assist with the day-to-day running of the warehouse, stock handling, order preparation, and occasional deliveries and collections using a company van.

Key Responsibilities

• Receiving, sorting, and storing daily deliveries in line with booking-in procedures
• Completing basic administration duties, including scanning delivery notes and booking in goods
• Picking, packing, and loading customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Preparing and loading 2–3 vans per day
• Carrying out occasional stock collections and deliveries to customers
• Covering delivery driver holidays
• Handling a wide range of products including hygiene products, chemicals, packaging, and service equipment
• Maintaining high standards of warehouse cleanliness and organisation
• Following all internal processes, procedures, and safety standards

Physical Requirements

Applicants must be capable of:

• Lifting and moving products weighing up to 25kg
• Standing and walking for extended periods
• Carrying out repetitive picking and packing tasks
• Using both hands and wrists with good manual dexterity
