Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Assistant to support our logistics and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with order picking, order handling, and shipping and receiving tasks within a busy warehouse environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with warehouse experience or mechanical knowledge to develop their skills further. Responsibilities

• Assist with the loading and unloading of goods using appropriate equipment such as forklifts
• Manage stock levels through accurate stocking, picking, and packing of items
• Support shipping and receiving processes, ensuring timely dispatch and receipt of goods
• Handle materials safely, including heavy lifting and mechanical tasks when required
• Maintain organisation and cleanliness within the warehouse to ensure safety standards are met
• Assist with stock rotation and inventory counts to ensure accuracy

Skills

• Proven experience in warehouse operations or similar environment
• Proficiency with forklift operation (certification preferred)
• Strong materials handling skills, including heavy lifting and manual dexterity
• Knowledge of stock management, shipping & receiving procedures, and picking & packing processes
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Good organisational skills and the ability to follow safety protocols at all times

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
