Warehouse Picker

Annualised Hours: 40.75 per week

Working Pattern: Typically, Monday – Wednesday, 8 hours per day, typically from 5:30pm, plus 1 in 6 Saturdays, 08:30 to – 13:30 and with flexibility to change in accordance with the needs of the business.

Length of Contract - Up to 17th December 2026

Hourly Rate: Up to £12.71 per hour

Location: Cheadle

About us: Stephenson’s is an independent family business based from Stockport supplying the catering trade with equipment since 1868. Currently going from strength to strength and seeking to recruit a Warehouse Picker to join a very customer service centric business that value all of their team members.

The Role: You will be working within a busy fast paced environment and targeted to accurately pick 1250 items per week, from a selected pick list, ready for packing and dispatch via courier or our own team of delivery drivers. You will strive to keep the Warehouse clean and tidy and adhere to health and safety procedures at all times.

The ideal Candidate: You will have previous experience in a warehouse Picker role. The role will require heavy lifting so you will need to be comfortable carrying and lifting.

You will need to be able to rapidly learn new tasks, undergo necessary training and quickly retain information to memory. You will have a hard working, flexible and reliable manner and be happy to commit to the work on a permanent basis.
