About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated picker/packer to join our team. This role involves picking and packing vending machine restock orders, and performing various warehouse tasks to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities

Packing Vending Machine Restock Orders

• Efficiently pack bins and boxes for refilling vending machines.
• Accurately pack orders for our wholesale pantry customers.
• Pick fresh and frozen products, ensuring correct product selection and maintaining cold chain requirements.
• Highlight out-of-stock items on pack sheets and notify your manager.
• Utilize handheld devices to pick and pack stock, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Restocking and Inventory Management

• Regularly restock shelves and bins to maintain inventory levels.
• Rotate stock using First In, First Out (FIFO) principles and ensure products are within date.
• Participate in monthly stock takes and other inventory counts as required.

Warehouse Organisation

• Clean and organise the warehouse as directed to maintain a safe, tidy, and efficient workspace.
• Maintain food safety and hygiene standards when handling fresh, chilled, and frozen products.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support overall warehouse operations.

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
• Ability to handle manual tasks and lift heavy items.
• Proficiency with handheld devices for stock management.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Reliable Transport to Work

Working Hours

• Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
