Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Production Operator to support our recycling and manufacturing operations. This hands-on role includes forklift operation, metal sorting, wheel inspection, and inventory tasks, all within a fast-paced industrial environment. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, team-oriented, and motivated to meet production goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to move materials and products safely
• Inspect and clean aluminum wheels for processing
• Sort and categorize scrap metal by type and quality
• Load and unload materials from trucks
• Maintain accurate inventory of incoming and outgoing materials
• Assist with general production tasks and support plant operations
• Meet daily and weekly production targets
• Follow instructions from the Operations Manager and shift leads

Safety & Quality Commitment

• Proactively identify and report safety hazards or unsafe actions
• Adhere to all safety protocols and participate in training programs
• Comply with CASS’s written Safety Program and procedures
• Ensure all materials meet internal quality standards
• Assist with root cause analysis and resolution of quality issues

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
• Must pass a hair follicle drug test and comprehensive background check
• Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs regularly
• Previous experience with forklift operation preferred
• Manufacturing or warehouse experience a plus
• Strong attention to detail and reliability

Schedule

• Monday–Friday and every other Saturday, 5:00 AM–1:30 PM
