Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Putaway Associate to join our dynamic logistics team. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient and accurate placement of inventory within our warehouse, supporting seamless warehouse operations and order fulfillment. Responsibilities

• Safely operate warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and order pickers to move materials efficiently
• Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against shipping documents, and accurately store items in designated locations using warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory management software
• Perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and stocking of products while adhering to safety protocols and OSHA regulations
• Assist with inventory management by conducting regular stock counts, updating inventory records, and reporting discrepancies promptly
• Support shipping and receiving activities through proper packing, order picking, loading, unloading, and order fulfillment processes
• Follow safety procedures diligently by using personal protective equipment (PPE), adhering to OSHA standards, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize storage solutions and improve overall warehouse operations

Skills

• Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, crane systems, cherry pickers, and material handling equipment
• Strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes including stocking, order picking & packing, shipping & receiving
• Knowledge of inventory control methods and warehouse management systems (e.g., AS400) for accurate stock tracking
• Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and measurements
• Excellent manual handling skills with an emphasis on safety regulations and mechanical knowledge of equipment operation
• Effective communication skills; bilingual ability in Spanish is a plus for facilitating team coordination
• Technical proficiency with warehouse operations software and familiarity with OSHA safety protocols
