WAREHOUSE QUALITY CONTROL

Key Responsibilities

• Inbound Inspection: Inspect incoming shipments, raw materials, or stock for physical damage, broken seals, wrong quantities, or labeling errors prior to receiving. [1, 2, 3]
• Outbound Verification: Check outgoing orders against pick lists, packing slips, or purchase orders to ensure accurate item type, size, and quantity before dispatch. [1, 2]
• Rejection and Segregation: Tag, log, and segregate any defective, expired, or non-compliant items away from good inventory. [1, 2]
• Documentation & Reporting: Record inspection results, maintain logs, and generate reports for damaged goods, discrepancies, or root-cause analysis using a WMS (Warehouse Management System) or digital scanners. [1, 2, 3]
• Compliance & Audits: Assist with routine and annual inventory counts, internal quality audits, and adherence to safety or food-safety standards (such as HACCP). [1, 2, 3]
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse staff, forklift operators, and management to resolve discrepancies and improve stock handling. [1, 2, 3]
