Warehouse Receiving Officer

We are looking for a Warehouse Receiving Officer to oversee the accurate and timely receiving of incoming goods. The role is responsible for checking deliveries against purchase orders, inspecting product condition, recording receiving transactions in the ERP system, and coordinating the proper storage and handover of received items.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receive incoming goods from suppliers and delivery partners according to approved purchase orders.
• Verify SKU, quantity, product description, packaging, labels, and other delivery details.
• Inspect incoming goods for damage, defects, or discrepancies.
• Compare physical deliveries against Purchase Orders (PO), Delivery Receipts (DR), and other supporting documents.
• Record and complete goods receipt transactions accurately in the ERP/WMS system.
• Report shortages, excess quantities, incorrect items, damaged goods, and other receiving discrepancies.
• Coordinate with the warehouse team for proper labeling, storage, and put-away of received goods.
• Ensure proper segregation and documentation of rejected, damaged, or pending-inspection items.
• Maintain accurate receiving records and prepare receiving reports as required.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Inventory, Suppliers, and other concerned teams regarding receiving issues.
• Follow warehouse SOPs, inventory control procedures, and safety standards.
• Perform other warehouse-related duties assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor or Manager.
