Warehouse Selector

Job Summary

Duties

• Carefully select products from inventory using warehouse management systems to fulfill customer orders accurately and promptly
• Load and unload shipments utilizing mechanical equipment such as forklifts, adhering to safety protocols
• Perform picking and packing tasks with precision to ensure order accuracy and product integrity
• Stock shelves and organize inventory to optimize space utilization and facilitate efficient retrieval
• Conduct quality control checks on items to verify condition, quantity, and compliance with standards
• Assist with shipping & receiving activities by verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace while following safety procedures for heavy lifting and materials handling

Qualifications

• Prior experience working in a warehouse environment or similar setting is preferred
• Knowledge of materials handling techniques and mechanical equipment operation, including forklift certification is a plus
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software is advantageous
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently as part of daily tasks
• Strong attention to detail for picking, packing, stocking, and quality control processes
• Mechanical knowledge or experience operating warehouse equipment is beneficial
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately in a fast-paced environment

Pay: £12.71-£21.40 per hour
