What they need

Rodd & Gunn | New Zealand Distribution Centre, Māngere

Full Time, Monday–Friday 7:30am–4:00pm

We are looking for an organised and hands-on Warehouse Operations & Returns Coordinator to join our New Zealand Distribution Centre team.

Internally, this role is referred to as our VAS (Value Added Services) & Returns Coordinator.

This is a varied role sitting across our broader Distribution Centre operations, with responsibility for customer returns, Value Added Services (VAS), wholesale administration, courier documentation and product preparation, while also providing operational support to our eCommerce and Web Store function.

Reporting to the DC Manager and working closely with our Web Coordinator, you'll help keep our online and warehouse operations moving efficiently throughout the day, ensuring work is completed accurately, on time and to Rodd & Gunn's quality standards.

What you'll be doing

  • Coordinating and processing customer returns accurately and within required timeframes
  • Managing Value Added Services (VAS), including repricing, relabelling and product preparation
  • Supporting the eCommerce and Web Store team with day-to-day operational activities
  • Assisting with the preparation and processing of online orders to support eCommerce service levels
  • Working closely with the Web Coordinator to support the smooth flow of eCommerce operations
  • Completing wholesale administration and associated documentation
  • Preparing NZ Post labels and other courier documentation
  • Ensuring products are prepared, packed and dispatched using the correct packaging and presentation standards
  • Supporting pick, pack and dispatch activities when required
  • Maintaining accurate warehouse records and updating systems
  • Assisting with stock investigations, inventory adjustments and cycle counts
  • Supporting workflow across the warehouse as operational requirements change
  • Monitoring warehouse consumables and operational supplies
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment

What we're looking for

You'll be someone who takes pride in getting the details right, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is happy to move between different areas of the operation as priorities change.

Ideally, you'll bring:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution centre or eCommerce fulfilment environment
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • The ability to prioritise competing tasks and work to operational deadlines
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills, including confidence using warehouse systems and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
  • Initiative and a willingness to support the wider warehouse and eCommerce teams
  • Experience using warehouse management systems is desirable
  • A forklift licence/certification is desirable, but not essential

The details

This is a full-time position based at our New Zealand Distribution Centre in Māngere Auckland, working Monday to Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm.

You'll work across a varied mix of warehouse, returns and eCommerce activities, making this a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership of their work and wants to contribute across the broader Distribution Centre operation.

At Rodd & Gunn, our values of Pride, Loyalty, Honesty and Playfulness underpin how we work together.

If you're proactive, reliable and take genuine pride in delivering quality work, we'd love to hear from you.
