  • Verify received product against purchase orders, packing lists, and bills of lading (item number, description, quantity, lot/serial number, and expiration date where applicable).
  • Document and report discrepancies, damages, and refused or short shipments to the supervisor and purchasing, following company procedures.
  • Enter receipts into the Warehouse Management System (WMS) or ERP accurately and promptly.
  • Label, tag, and stage product, then put it away to the correct location using a scanner and material handling equipment.

Cycle Counting

  • Submit variance reports and recommended adjustments for approval and post adjustments only with proper authorization.
  • Verify location accuracy and correct slotting, labeling, and bin-location issues.
  • Identify damaged, obsolete, expired, or slow-moving product and report it to management.

General

  • Follow all safety rules, including proper lifting, PPE use, and equipment operating procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records and support internal and external audits.
  • Work with purchasing, customer service, shipping, and accounting to resolve inventory and receiving issues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1+ years of experience in warehouse receiving, inventory control, or a similar distribution role.
