Warehouse Solutions Specialist

Job Summary: As a Warehousing Solutions Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to identify and address our clients' needs related to warehousing operations. You will collaborate closely with clients to understand their requirements and challenges, providing tailored solutions to optimize their warehousing processes. This role requires expertise in warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management, and materials handling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth assessments of clients' warehousing operations to identify areas for improvement.
• Engage with clients to understand their specific warehousing needs and challenges.
• Recommend and implement solutions to optimize warehouse layouts, workflows, and inventory management processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop innovative strategies and solutions that meet client requirements.
• Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in warehousing operations.
• Coordinate with local suppliers to obtain quotations and respond to inquiries related to customs clearance, warehousing, trucking, and other logistics services.
• Conduct price comparisons among suppliers to support cost-effective sourcing and service selection.
• Collect, verify, and update cost data to ensure pricing information remains accurate and current.
• Maintain and update the basic data used in quotation calculation models.
• Prepare and organize quotation documents, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and proper documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 3-4 years of experience in a logistics, warehousing, or supply chain industry providing warehouse solutions
• Knowledge of logistics cost structures, supplier management, or pricing processes is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
