Warehouse Sorter

Job Summary

We're hiring a Warehouse Sorter to help keep incoming and outgoing shipments organized and moving. Most of your shift is spent separating items by size, type, or destination and making sure everything ends up in the right spot. Some bins get busy fast. You'll scan items as they come through, flag anything that looks damaged or mislabeled, and pass it along to the right area for further handling. We typically run in a fast-paced environment during peak hours, so being able to keep pace matters. It's hands-on work, and you're on your feet moving product most of the day. Training covers our sorting system, so you don't need to know it going in.

Responsibilities

• Sorting incoming packages by size, category, or destination
• Scan barcodes to confirm item counts and locations
• Flagging damaged, mislabeled, or misplaced items for review
• Loading sorted items onto carts or pallets for the next stage
• Keeping sorting lanes clear and organized throughout the shift
• Restock bins and supplies as needed
• Basic housekeeping around the sorting floor between waves
• Communicating with team leads when volume backs up or something looks off

Qualifications

• You keep track of small details, which matters when items move through quickly and mistakes are easy to make.
• Good communication skills help when you need to flag an issue or check in with a team lead mid-shift.
• You're comfortable picking up basic computer or scanner functions with a bit of practice.
• When volume picks up and things get hectic, you're able to stay calm and keep working through it.
• Being punctual matters here, since sorting waves are timed and the team depends on full coverage.
• You're organized enough to keep your section tidy even when it's moving fast.
• Showing up for your scheduled shifts consistently is something we count on.
• You're willing to learn new steps as our process changes from time to time.

Pay: $23.22 - $27.97 per hour

Expected hours: 41.0 – 78.0 per week
