Warehouse Sorter

Job Summary

Your main job is making sure product lands where it's supposed to, every time it comes through. You'll read labels, check codes, and sort items into the right bin, cart, or staging area throughout the shift. Some days are steady and predictable. Other days a big shipment hits all at once and the pace changes fast. You'll work close to the dock and packing stations, so what you sort affects what happens next down the line. We typically run a consistent process, but you'll need to adjust quickly when something's mislabeled or volume spikes. Accuracy matters more here than speed, even if the job asks for both sometimes.

Responsibilities

• Sorting incoming and outgoing product by type, size, or destination
• Checking barcodes and matching items to the correct bin or cart
• Flagging damaged, mismatched, or missing product for a supervisor
• Moving sorted items to staging areas for packing or shipping
• Keeping the sorting area clean and free of clutter
• Logging processed items into the inventory system
• Helping load and unload trucks when the line is caught up, and covering other sections when someone falls behind
• Restocking bins, labels, and sorting supplies as they run low

Qualifications

• You generally notice when something's out of place before it turns into a bigger problem down the line.
• Being dependable matters here — if you're scheduled, you're expected to be there.
• When the line gets backed up, you're able to adjust your approach without losing track of what's next.
• You can read and follow labels and written instructions without much back-and-forth.
• Working with a scanner or basic computer system doesn't slow you down.
• You stay steady when things pick up, rather than getting rattled by a busy stretch.
• You work well alongside others on a shared line, especially when the pace shifts throughout the day.
• You treat teammates with respect, even when everyone's rushing to keep up with volume.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 20,61€ - 25,44€ per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 80.0 per week
