WAREHOUSE SPECIALIST

WAREHOUSE & SHIPPING SPECIALISTAutomotive Transmission Remanufacturing

Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM | 1-Hour Lunch

We are a growing automotive transmission remanufacturer looking for a dependable, motivated Warehouse & Shipping Specialist to join our team.

This is a hands-on position that plays an important role in keeping our production and shipping operations running smoothly. You will work with automotive transmissions every day, handling incoming and outgoing freight, stocking inventory, preparing transmissions for production, and processing used transmission cores.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Pull transmissions from warehouse shelves for production and customer orders
• Receive, inspect, and put away incoming shipments
• Prepare transmissions and other freight for outbound shipment
• Load and unload freight using a forklift and other material-handling equipment
• Stock and organize warehouse inventory
• Drain, process, identify, and properly store used transmission cores
• Help maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse
• Use computers and inventory systems to document and track parts and transmissions
• Identify differences between transmission applications, including 2WD vs. 4WD, vehicle applications, transmission models, and other identifying characteristics
• Work closely with the production and shipping teams to make sure the right transmission gets to the right place at the right time
• Occasionally fill in as a delivery driver when needed

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're looking for someone who is:

• Dependable and takes pride in doing the job right
• Comfortable working on their feet and performing physical work throughout the day
• Able to safely lift and move automotive transmissions and other heavy items
• Comfortable operating or willing to learn to operate a forklift
• Comfortable using a computer and learning inventory/shipping software
• Detail-oriented and able to recognize differences between similar-looking transmissions
• Able to follow procedures and keep accurate records
• A good communicator who works well with others
• Willing to learn the automotive transmission business

Automotive, warehouse, shipping, forklift, or mechanical experience is a plus — but we're willing to train the right person.

A GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR THE RIGHT PERSON

This isn't a typical warehouse position. You'll become familiar with automotive transmissions, vehicle applications, inventory, shipping, and the remanufacturing process while working alongside an experienced team.

The right person will have the opportunity to develop valuable automotive and warehouse skills and become an important part of our operation.

A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are preferred for candidates who may be called upon to assist with deliveries.
