Warehouse Staff

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Staff member to join PT AWOT GLOBAL LOGISTICS INDONESIA. This is a full-time position based in Pulogadung, East Jakarta, Jakarta. As a Warehouse Staff, you will be an essential part of our warehousing and distribution operations, contributing to the efficient movement and storage of goods. This role is critical to maintaining our high standards of inventory management, order fulfilment and logistics excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Receiving and processing incoming shipments, including verification of goods against delivery documentation
• Organising and storing goods in designated warehouse locations using appropriate storage systems and equipment
• Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently in accordance with customer requirements
• Maintaining accurate inventory records and conducting regular stock checks to ensure inventory accuracy
• Operating warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and responsible manner
• Preparing goods for shipment, including labelling, wrapping and loading onto delivery vehicles
• Maintaining cleanliness, organisation and safety standards throughout the warehouse facility
• Assisting with warehouse maintenance tasks and reporting any equipment damage or safety hazards
• Supporting the warehouse team to meet daily, weekly and monthly targets and deadlines
• Following all health, safety and security protocols to ensure a safe working environment

What we're looking for

• Previous experience working in a warehouse, distribution centre or logistics environment is highly desirable
• Physical fitness and capability to perform manual handling tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy items
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks and hand trucks safely and competently
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording inventory and processing orders
• Excellent organisational and time management skills to meet productivity targets
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions clearly
• Commitment to health, safety and security standards in the workplace
• Reliability and punctuality in attendance and task completion
• Flexibility to work shifts as required by operational needs
• Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems is advantageous
