WAREHOUSE STAFF (PROJECT BASED)

About the role

Receive, store, and issue materials, equipment, and other items from stockroom, warehouse, or storage room. Keep records and compile stock reports.

Key responsibilities

• Packages and prepares equipment and supplies prior to distribution/delivery.
• Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or using computer.
• Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards.
• Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors.
• Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, supply rooms, or other areas.
• Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, or other labeling equipment.
• Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities.
• Keep records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment.
• Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.

About you

• Bachelor's degree, diploma courses in any course from a reputable University or School with good scholastic and moral records.
• At least 1 year of experience in warehousing or related task.
• Focus and attention to detail.
• Demonstrates a sense of urgency to meet customer time commitments.
• Ability to take initiative and work with team members to accomplish defined goals in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment while maintaining accuracy.
• Maintain regular, dependable attendance and high level performance.
• Physical requirements include but may not be limited to continuous walking, standing, stooping, bending, reaching, pushing, and stacking merchandise.
• Ability to learn new skills and take on additional job responsibilities as needed.
• Willing to work beyond regular working hours.
