Warehouse Store person – Seafood Wholesaler

Location: Seventeen Mile Rocks, QLD

Job Type: Fulltime Casual (Monday – Friday)

Shift Hours: ~8-hour shifts between 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay: Competitive casual rate + applicable penalty rates

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable, physically fit, and motivated Warehouse Storeperson to join our busy seafood wholesaling team in Seventeen Mile Rocks.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on position involving order picking, stock management, and forklift operation. A core component of this role involves working inside cold room and freezer environments (temperatures down to -18°C or below). Appropriate cold-weather gear is provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Forklift Operations: Safely load, unload, move, and store stock using a forklift.
• Order Preparation: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
• Stock Management: Receive incoming goods, assist with stock rotation, and maintain inventory organization.
• Warehouse Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, orderly, and compliant with WHS guidelines.
• Heavy Lifting: Perform routine manual handling and heavy lifting tasks.

What We’re Looking For

• Forklift Licence: Current LF licence is essential.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to perform regular heavy lifting and manual handling comfortably.
• Cold Storage Ability: Willingness and physical capability to work in freezer conditions (-18°C).
• Work Ethic: Punctual, dependable, detail-oriented, and able to thrive under pressure.
• Experience: Prior warehouse experience is highly regarded (preferred, but training provided for the right candidate).

Pay: $30.00 – $36.00 per hour
