Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and materials handling.
• Lead and manage warehouse staff, providing clear direction, coaching, and performance feedback to foster a motivated team.
• Oversee the operation of material handling equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners, ensuring safe and efficient usage.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management systems; perform regular cycle counts and audits.
• Implement process improvements aligned with lean management principles to enhance workflow efficiency and reduce waste.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety protocols across all warehouse activities.
• Coordinate logistics activities related to distribution center operations, including shipping schedules and receiving procedures.

Skills

• Extensive experience in warehouse distribution, operations, or logistics environments with a proven track record in warehouse supervision.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control techniques and inventory management systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools for reporting and communication purposes.
• Skilled in the operation of warehouse material handling equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners.
• Exceptional team management abilities coupled with effective managerial communication skills.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and lean management practices to streamline processes.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle materials efficiently using proper handling techniques.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
