What they need
- Warehouse Operations – Oversee receiving, storing and dispatching, ensuring timely and accurate handling to support production and customer demands.
- Inventory Management – Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels of raw materials, packaging and finished goods, conducting regular stock checks and reconciling discrepancies.
- Team Supervision – Lead, train and manage warehouse staff, including scheduling shifts, assigning tasks and conducting performance evaluations.
- Quality Control – Ensure products are stored under proper conditions (eg. temperature, humidity) to maintain quality and comply with food safety standards.
- Safety Compliance – Enforce workplace safety protocols, conduct safety trainings and ensure compliance and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Equipment Management – Oversee the use and maintenance of warehouse equipment (eg. forklifts, pallet trucks, racking systems) to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
- Logistics Coordination – Collaborate with production and transportation teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and finished products to customers or distribution centers.
- Process Improvement – Identify and implement improvements in warehouse processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste and optimize space utilization.
- Record Keeping – Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, shipments and warehouse activities using warehouse management systems.
- Compliance – Ensure adherence to food safety regulations, GMP and other industry standards.
