PM Warehouse Supervisor Northern Suburbs, Melbourne | Full-Time Permanent
A well-established and growing operation is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead floor staff and drive performance on the ground. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys being in the thick of daily operations, coaching a team and keeping standards high.

The Role
Reporting to the Warehouse Operations Manager, you will supervise day-to-day warehouse activities, leading floor staff to hit KPIs, maintain safety standards and drive continuous improvement across the shift. You'll be the first point of contact for your team, translating broader operational goals into clear daily direction on the floor.
Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead floor staff on shift, driving performance against KPIs and productivity targets
• Champion a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with WHS procedures and reporting hazards promptly
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to lift efficiency and reduce waste on the floor
• Monitor and manage daily workflow, including inbound and outbound operations
• Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock checks and process discipline
• Coach, mentor and develop team members, addressing performance issues as they arise
• Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and warehouse processes
• Communicate effectively with the Warehouse Operations Manager on shift performance, issues and opportunities
• Assist with rostering and labour planning to ensure appropriate shift coverage

About You

• Proven experience supervising a warehouse team or shift in a fast-paced environment
• Strong understanding of KPI management and performance-driven leadership
• Genuine interest in continuous improvement, with a track record of identifying and implementing process gains
• Solid grasp of WHS practices and a safety-first mindset
• Hands-on, practical leadership style with the ability to motivate and hold a team accountable
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) highly regarded
• Forklift licence desirable
