Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to join our multi-customer warehouse in Penjuru. You will lead a team of eight warehouse employees and work closely with the Warehouse Manager to manage the daily operation. As this is a smaller warehouse, this is not a desk-based role. You will regularly work alongside the team and support the operation wherever needed. Your main responsibility is to ensure that work is completed safely, accurately and on time while meeting customer KPIs. You will also play an important role in continuous improvement and in projects to introduce or phase out customer operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the daily activities of an eight-person warehouse team.
• Plan the daily workload, set clear priorities and delegate tasks effectively.
• Work alongside the team and provide hands-on operational support when needed.
• Ensure inbound, storage, picking, packing and outbound activities are completed safely, accurately and on time.
• Monitor daily performance and ensure customer KPIs and service expectations are met.
• Conduct daily briefings and coach team members to improve performance and quality.
• Maintain a safe, clean and well-organised warehouse and ensure all safety requirements are followed.
• Ensure transactions and stock movements are correctly recorded in the Warehouse Management System.
• Support stock counts, investigate stock differences, damages and service issues, and take action to prevent repeat problems.
• Work with the Warehouse Manager and team to identify and carry out continuous improvement activities.
• Help plan and carry out customer transitions, including introducing new customers and phasing out existing operations.
• Operate forklifts, reach trucks and other warehouse equipment when required.
• Report operational, safety and customer issues to the Warehouse Manager promptly.

What We Are Looking For

• Proven experience supervising and leading a warehouse team, including delegating work, coaching employees and handling daily performance matters.
• Strong practical experience in warehouse operations. Experience working across different industries is an advantage.
• A hands-on leadership style and willingness to work alongside the team.
• A valid forklift licence and practical experience operating forklifts and reach trucks safely.
• Strong communication, planning, time-management and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable, punctual and able to lead by example, remain calm and make practical decisions during daily operations.
• Good spoken and written English. Ability to speak Bahasa Melayu is a strong advantage.
• Good understanding of warehouse and workplace safety.
• General understanding of Warehouse Management Systems. Experience using Infor WMS is an advantage.
• Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Willingness and ability to learn new systems and ways of working. We can be flexible regarding experience with specific systems if you communicate well, understand instructions and are willing to learn.

Working Arrangement

This position follows a 5.5-day work week:

• Monday to Friday: 8:30 am–5:30 pm
• Saturday: 8:30 am–12:30 pm
• Additional paid overtime may occasionally be required depending on operational needs
