WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR

Area of Assignment: Talisay Branch

JOB SUMMARY

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of all warehouses ensuring that the inventory management program is maintained to support the goals and objectives of the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Drives warehouse activities related to receiving, storing, and releasing stock items to ensure effective and efficient operations and material handling.

2. Achieves high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching, and assuring the quality of products.

3. Maintains warehousing documents to ensure accurate records of inventory and warehousing activities.

4. Maintains the appropriate inventory levels, monitors MIN-MAX, and initiates the request for replenishment through stock transfer and purchase order (POF).

5. Compiles operational data to assist in preparing reports and analyses setting forth progress, adverse trends, and appropriate recommendations and/or conclusions related to inventory.

6. Develops and implement improved methods of material handling, storage, and stock control to promote efficiency, service, and reduced costs.

7. Directs the daily warehouse operation for all functions, including:

• leading the daily huddle to align team members on priorities and tasks that needed to be done
• reviewing work plans for assigned staff, assigning them work activities and projects, and monitoring their work output;
• developing processes, procedures, and guidelines for the department to ensure efficiency in operation;
• monitoring staff attendance and providing coaching and counseling to those who are habitually tardy and absent;
• training team members to ensure they have clear pathways to adhere to processes and procedures;
• assisting the GM for Operations in conducting performance evaluations and discussions with team members;
• enforcing company policies and issuing incident reports to erring members as well as non-conformance of other departments that concern the department;
• implementing appropriate safety procedures, reviewing safety practices, investigating injuries and unsafe procedures, and communicating these to the General Manager for proper disposal.

8. Coordinates with other functional teams, such as:

• Purchasing team, on the investigation and resolution of inventory discrepancies;
• Purchasing team, on the status and prioritization of requested stock inventory;
• Retails Sales and Wholesale teams, on the actual inventory of requested or ordered items;
• Quality Control & Dispatching teams, on the status of the items scheduled for issuance

9. Prepares warehouse reports for the Management (e.g., key performance metrics, daily output report, weekly warehouse report for GM-Operations, warehouse monthly report, etc.)

10. Supervises the year-end inventory (YEI) activities of the yard

11. Ensures the cleanliness of the department’s work areas

12. Perform other work-related tasks that the immediate superior may assign from time to time

Other Tasks

• Perform other related duties as may be assigned by the Immediate Superior.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Graduate of a four-year course in Business Management, Industrial Technology, Supply Chain, or other related fields.

2. At least 5 years of experience in logistics or warehouse supervision, preferably in the food service or manufacturing industry.

3. Strong leadership skills with the ability to delegate tasks, manage teams, and coordinate administrative functions.

4. Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and management

5. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and email communication. Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems is an advantage.

6. Excellent oral and written communication skills.

7. Able to work under pressure, handle multiple tasks, and adapt to a fast-paced work environment

Pay: Php18,000.00 - Php20,000.00 per month
