Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

Exercise overall control over the entire warehouse operation, including inspection and supervision of on-site task allocation by team leaders and work progress. Ensure FIFO (First-In-First-Out) for all goods and conduct regular inspections. Follow up on work progress in the receiving area, on-site operation area and shipping area based on daily customer production plans.

Key responsibilities

• Exercise overall control over the entire warehouse operation
• Inspect and supervise the completeness of on-site task allocation by team leaders and work progress, ensuring FIFO (First-In-First-Out) for all goods and conducting regular inspections
• Follow up on work progress of team leaders in the receiving area, on-site operation area and shipping area based on daily customer production plans
• Continuously optimize 5S management and standardized operations within the managed area, and maintain effective communication with external departments
• Maintain sound cooperation with customers, resolve operational issues through alignment, ensure smooth logistics workflows and meet customers' reasonable requirements
• Formulate annual, quarterly, monthly, weekly and daily warehouse inventory plans, monitor inventory execution and guarantee inventory accuracy
• Compile monthly warehouse operation reports and monitor the achievement of key warehouse performance indicators
• Organize and implement reasonable internal task allocation for the team, enforce effective control, conduct team-building activities, and develop and improve subordinates' professional competencies
• Implement warehouse procedure documents, workflows and standards, supervise subordinates' compliance, provide training on relevant knowledge and operational skills, conduct performance assessments
• Conduct regular communication with subordinates to timely understand their concerns and feedback, ensure smooth daily operations and enhance team cohesion

About you

• Minimum 3-year working experience at supervisor level or above in warehouse management / supply chain management within logistics companies
• Proficient in English reading and writing with good spoken English; able to communicate smoothly with Chinese colleagues
• Excellent communication skills, capable of liaising effectively with external customers and internal functional departments
• Prior logistics experience in the automotive industry is preferred
