WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR

About the role

Polystar Manpower Services is seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Paranaque City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse and distribution centre. As Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring that all activities run smoothly and meet our stringent quality and safety standards. This position is integral to maintaining our reputation for excellence in the warehousing, storage and distribution industry, and you will directly impact our ability to deliver exceptional service to our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage warehouse staff, including scheduling, training, and performance monitoring to ensure optimal productivity and safety
• Oversee inventory management activities including receiving, storing, picking, packing and dispatching of goods
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock audits to ensure inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies
• Implement and enforce warehouse safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all staff members
• Monitor warehouse operations to identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs
• Coordinate with other departments including logistics, sales and administration to ensure smooth warehouse operations
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations and health and safety requirements
• Prepare and submit regular reports on warehouse performance, including productivity metrics, inventory levels and incident reports
• Maintain warehouse equipment and facilities in good working condition, arranging for repairs and maintenance as needed
• Handle customer enquiries and resolve any warehouse-related issues in a professional and timely manner

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role within a warehouse or distribution environment
• Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
• Comprehensive knowledge of warehouse operations, including inventory management, stock control and distribution processes
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems and related software applications
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and reporting
• Sound understanding of health and safety regulations and warehouse safety best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments
• Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational challenges
• Physical capability to perform warehouse duties and navigate the warehouse environment
• Preferred: Certification or training in warehouse management, logistics or supply chain management
• Preferred: Experience with forklift operations and material handling equipment
