Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations and ensure the accurate receiving, storage, inventory, and release of merchandise and supplies. The role will supervise warehouse staff and coordinate with stores and other departments to ensure smooth and timely operations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse activities, including receiving, checking, storing, picking, and releasing merchandise.
• Ensure accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock counts and reconciliation.
• Monitor proper storage, organization, handling, and movement of merchandise.
• Supervise warehouse staff, assign daily tasks, and monitor attendance, productivity, and work performance.
• Check incoming deliveries and outgoing stocks for accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate with Store Managers and other departments regarding stock requests, transfers, and deliveries.
• Report inventory discrepancies, damaged/missing items, and operational concerns to management.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, warehouse procedures, and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field is preferred.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in warehouse, inventory, logistics, or retail operations.
• Supervisory experience is an advantage.
• Knowledge of inventory control and warehouse operations.
• Good organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of managing a warehouse team.
• Willing to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
