We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor in Onitsha to oversee our warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, safe working practices, and timely dispatch of goods. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, and dispatch.
• Allocate tasks and manage warehouse staff to ensure productivity and operational efficiency.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock accuracy.
• Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization.
• Monitor compliance with warehouse procedures, safety standards, and quality requirements.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and adherence to SHEQ standards.
• Prepare daily operational reports and maintain warehouse documentation.
• Train, coach, and develop warehouse personnel.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse performance and reduce operational costs.
• Keep warehouse reporting systems, including Power BI, updated.

Requirements

• Close proximity to Onitsha River Port
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience in warehouse supervision or warehouse operations.
• Experience in a chemical distribution company is a strong advantage
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management processes, inventory control, and warehouse safety.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills.
• Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and make sound operational decisions.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with warehouse management systems and Power BI is an added advantage.
