Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, including inventory management, material storage, goods receiving and dispatching, and picking activities. This role ensures inventory accuracy between physical stock and SAP records while driving continuous improvements in warehouse processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance efficiency, safety, and operational performance.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, and dispatch of materials and products.
• Manage inventory levels and ensure proper stock rotation, storage, and handling practices.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems and SAP.
• Ensure physical inventory counts are regularly conducted and reconciled with SAP material records.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Monitor material movements (inbound and outbound) to ensure accuracy and compliance with company procedures.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve warehouse SOPs and operational processes.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and housekeeping standards within the warehouse.
• Coordinate with Production, Supply Chain, Procurement, and other departments to support operational requirements.
• Lead and guide warehouse staff to achieve operational targets and maintain productivity.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or logistics supervision.
• Hands-on experience with warehouse management software and SAP systems.
• Strong understanding of inventory control, stock management, material handling, and warehouse processes.
• Experience conducting stock reconciliation and cycle counts.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Good communication and leadership abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken, is an advantage.
